Can you answer Kellsey’s question about Weddings?:
I want to have my wedding in may and I am positive I want a beach wedding and I want it to be classy and not a lot of bright colors. Any color combinations? Pictures?

Weddings Feedback: think about what kind of coulors you see people wearing when youre down the beach. im not a real big beach guy. i would say some white flowers and some blue colours.

Weddings Feedback: a friend of mine had her wedding on the beach and she went with a cream and aqua colored bridesmaid gowns and they carries coral colored bouquets, it was so pretty against the beach setting. I was kind of gritting my teeth when she first told me about the colors because you think aqua would be really bright but it was so soft with a cream colored sash around their waists and the coral colored flowers just set it all off. Beautiful

I dont exact pictures but the aqua color was sort of like this one:

Weddings Feedback: A good idea would be to go to a paint store and look at the color charts and paint chips that they have to see if you can come up with a nice combination that would be classy and yet subdued. Usually if there is a woman working in that department she will be able to help you out a little.

Another idea is to go to the fabric store and look at the different colors of fabric and the salesperson should be able to help you match some colors. Maybe you might want to buy a small strip of several colors to match. You can ask if they sell small strips.

Make sure you know if the water is blue or blue/green or some other color so there isn’t a color contrast with your colors.

By having the visual of the colors it will be much easier to make a decision that will be pleasing to you and your future spouse.

I recently saw a bride and groom on the beach getting married and she had on a simple light pink long A line type summer dress and he had on a lightweight casual white jacket and pants with a light pink shirt to match her dress and it was very pretty and classy looking. They looked like they should be on top of a cake.

I don’t believe it was originally intended to be something to pick out wedding colors with, but it’s a lot of fun to play around with and look at how the colors look in pictures. I like to pick a shade of green for the first color so that most of the images that show up are flowers and flower arrangements.

Weddings Feedback: Sorry I can not send you a picture but if you wanna keep with the spring fever and add a little bit of beach party craze in there then I would suggest going with peaches and whites. Then it’s traditional that means class and it’s got that spring beach flavor with the peaches.

Weddings Feedback: How about a soft yellow, like canary yellow? It would go well with the beach atmosphere, but isn’t as bold as a bright blue or green. I think yellow and white would be great together, very simple but beautiful.

Just click on the canary yellow to view the dress in that color:=-49998973&colorName=Canary&subCategory=-49998976|-49998975|-49998973&top_category=&catentryId=6097107
