Can you answer Jasmine’s question about Weddings?:
The rice in Pakistani weddings has a very distinct taste and flavor. The regular rice (chawal) we make at home doesnt. Does anyone know what that masala or ingredient is??
Im looking for the recipe/ Ingredient in the namkeen- Salty Pulao recipe

Weddings Feedback: the main flavor comes from zeera. I know this because I make it at home after learning it from my very pakistani mother.

Sorry if you dont know, zeera is cumin seeds. other than that there is salt and sometimes adding green peas helps make the rice look colorful especially when cooking for guests.
